So im still working on a project from september that seems to get interrupted by my spastic lack of attention span. BUT WHEN IM DONE I have a new story I want to do, better this time, because I am going to write out what happens before I start drawing, and I have a better plot in mind, based on a russian folk tale. BUT YOU FAIR READER SHALL HAVE TO WAIT!

That so many people in my age group, doing art, are better than I? Its a real whiner thing to say, but god damn it, it seems to be true. I'm not about to stop practicing, but its like, what if I cant get a fucking job doing this? Should I have been practicing sculpture all along? Probably should have, I think I might be better at that than drawing, but then again, I don't have any metric to compare sculpture to, maybe I'm behind the curve there too. Oh well, who the hell knows.

So I'm making a comic, to practice drawing, but like, not a webcomic, like a comic book, and it shall be called Jacob and the Demon. I really should write out the first, oh, I don't know, chapter or so of this saga, but I haven't, and only have the first part of it out in my head, but that's ok because it takes a lot of fucking panels to tell a story, and I still have the preludish part being worked on. Im probably going to post it as a group once I've got this part finished. But good god damn does this take a lot of time.

Im going to draw some comic characters, I figure its something I'd like to practice, and why the hell not. so im going to copy the fuck out of Mike Mignola, and some X-men artists, and do so without shame. Also I shall not fail my classes because of drawing too much.

Ok school time, but my classes are easy. So more time for art.Or wow. Probably wow. Need to quit that game. Cant. Fuck.
I seriously need to draw more, and hell, even sculpt, seeing as how thats what I think I'm going to end up doing. Drawing is just so much easier to pick up and put down. Oh well, who knows what the future holds. Maybe I'll end up washing windows. Fuck.
I really need to remove distractions from my life and work on art, cause you're never good enough, and the only way you get better is a learn-by-doing system, a bottomless timesink, and we just dont have bottomless time.
